greetings....
i am running Win2K Pro
when i try to launch the usbbdm version 0.4 software i get the following error:
C:\documentsandsettings\me\fancontrol.asm contains an invalid path!!
the file fancontrol.asm is an assembly prg i wrote using AVRStudio4
why is usbbdm even finding this file and why is it trying to use it?
all versions of 0.4 does this
all previous versions DO NOT do this.... kinda strange...
any help would be appreciated....
if you need more info let me know...
one more thing, the error is constant, one after the other the other....i cannot exit the program, nor can i kill it with task manager....i must re-boot to get rid of it....
thx mdynac

Do you have the BDM plugged in?
The initial intent is to have your assembly code in so you can do basic debugging. If you do not want it, simply removed it. If you still can not. Go to regedit and find the key and delete it.

i now recall what i did to create this problem...
i launched usbbdm and accidently loaded the file fancontrol.asm into the usbbdm software.... and ever since then it was always trying to load that .asm prg....
i did not realize that usbbdm set a registry value pointing to that file...

mdynac: I just uploaded 0.45 which fix the pop-up problem. You can try the newer software.
