Starchoice boxe uses MC68331 as well. Not all the boxes have the BDM connector soldered on. You might need to find a connector to dolder it on. Here are two examples of USB BDM connect to the star choice boxes. This is Motorola DSR305SC This is GI DSR401MN. The connector is missing on the original box.

I've got a cople of these boxes kicking around. Can't remember which models they are. Is the memory map the same? Firmware, Nvram etc.

That is why I made the dcttest.dll loadable. You need to figure out what memory map it uses. The way to test these boxes, upload the irmware, (use $000000 to $7FFFF first). Then disassemble it, find the real memory map. Config these memory to the software.
