The USB BDM will be available soon. So far it is under a small group to use. If you want to be in this small group, please let me know.

The first batch of units will cost about $50+shiping. A Windows software will be provided. Here is the screen shot. This software is now command only. It is not that user friendly. Feedbacks are wellcome to improve the software.

At $50 for a USB BDM I am in. Please e-mail me when the first batch are ready to ship.
I think it is great you are starting this.
Guys, keep in mind Starchoice uses the same interface as well as the MicroController in GM Cars!

I hope the first batch goes to those serious testers. Also I would like to hear feedback on how to make the software more usable. After that, there will another batch coming. But I expected would be another month to give the window to improve the software. Currently, the software is hard coded for DC boxes. Later, it could be configurable for different harware.

I would like to be part of the testing group. I have done a few side projects involving dissassembly and hex editing ... I guess my main question is this will allow an entire dump of the Rom correct? And how soon could I be part of the test if possible? Thank you.

Set ram memory.

Nice looking unit. USBDM, was there any consideration during development of all " Surface Mounted Devices"? Also was there any thought as to "Socketed Chips" for any future replacement and/or upgrade of the chip? I realize this would drive up the cost, but it looks soooo cool that way..lol
Cheers,
XTC

No need to upgrade the chip. It is true that it would be even smaller if all surface mounted.
