1. Upload the firmware to PC use BDM. 2. Disassemble the firmware. 3. Find the entry of the clear PPV. 4. Use BDM command to excute the entry. You might need to disable the interrupt. 5. Go to diagnostic to check the PPV memory.

Is it true that if you press the button on the SW100 that this will erase the PPV memory as well?

never tried, but i would say no. that would be too easy. i'm not sure what the switch is for it acts like a reset switch does the same as pulling the power cord.

nothing on the board or pressing butons can erase ppv thats a normal reset button
when you purchace a program the firmware of the box write the nvram and writes the nvram .....to clear it u can do it by restoring the clean nvram and firmare or otherwise......company sends a signal back to the box afther they read the purchaces and they go back to 0

OK, A little help around here.. My PPV NOT been cleared.. This are my steps.. (yes I did back up nvram the first time) do I have to do it every time ?
reset 1 press F5 break (after the box finish its diagnostics) go= 43089E (is a PH6 Board) reset
Many ?'s I have one purchase, does it supposed to clear to 0 ? ohhhh is unsent.. Do I have to cleared every time I watch a PPV ? or I could just disable up link and connect cable in signal to "RF IN, and still watch all my channels ? (I haven't tryout) Please Can someone post steps for me... 1st disable uplink + order PPV.. ect Why can I jump from 2 digits to 3 digits channels by pressing #'s (do I have to go one by one every time ? ) very slow.
Thank you all, you help is greatly appreciated (Newbie to DCT'S)

There are two members already reported that after certain number of order clear, the PPV cannot order any more. The clear PPV method here uses internal error fix routine in the firmware. But each time the clear routine is called; there is a block of memory used to tell the error. There might be a certain number of errors allowed, So after a few clears (5-6 times) you should consider use your earlier NVRAM to restore so it will give you rooms to clear more.

so ther error is generated by the nvram? i thought after got the error that i wrote back the firmware and nvram i originally dumped from the box. maybe i didn't. i'll try it again and see what happens.
