I have ph6 box with Comcast Plat W/ the MLB, I backup the firmware and the NVRAM, how can i get it running on other boxes that arent ph6 boxes???

I think you should have no problem use your NVRAM and firmware on PH7/PH8 board. But for non ph board. It is not that easy.

any new news on the non ph board? i have yet to have any success with any of mine. unfortuneatly every box i have is non ph. i can read/write to them no problem, but forget making any mods to the code or cloning.

I'm so new, I'm in the larval stage. ;D Ever since I got digital cable, these Moto DCTs have intrigued me. I come from an A/V background w/ a tiny amount of computer knowledge, & work at the RatShack (don't hold it against me, please ). But, I digress OT. This may be an obvious or pointless question, but, how are TSIDs handled? DCTGoddess

any new news on the non ph board? i have yet to have any success with any of mine. unfortuneatly every box i have is non ph. i can read/write to them no problem, but forget making any mods to the code or cloning. u can write firmware to non ph boards? i can only read the firmware and write nvram to it for now u can clone a legal nvram to the non ph and it will automaticaly download the newest firmware for you i have a non ph gets all the premiums digitals actualy gets every single channel exept ppv....i put a legal nvram from my area and is up and running but dam they get hot this old boards suck ass the pn9 my friend has barely gets any heat

Found why can not program non ph board. Will fix this soon. The program speed maybe a little slow.

patsfan, try the V0.42 and see if it works with your non PH board.

I am really a noob, most of this is over my head. If I bought the card, ajnd downloaded the software, Is it easy enough that I could run it and wipe my ppv's?
