Hi i think it would be a good idea if the USBBDM software had a feature where you could choose which BDM you had... If you had a USBBDM then you could use it, if you have a printer cable BDM you could use it.
So why not have the option where the software works with any kind of bdm :-)
Thanks.

I support that idea. I have a different bdm that i paid well over $150 for. it would be nice if i could use it with this software. it would be good if the software DID allow the choice of different bdms such as LPT..etc.

why should usbbdm take the time to write software for other bdm hardware? he created this forum for the software he wrote and for a usb bdm board. if you want to use a different bdm by all means go ahead. but ask the maker of the hardware for the software.

patsfan, thanks for understanding.
I have limited time and I am making new features for testing on USBBDM only. Next minor release is to force older boards (PH6 and earlier) to boot from TSOP flash. Quite often we reflash the firmware and clone the NVRAM, the box just does not pick up the new firmware. It boots the software no the DIP chip (5.88 mostly). Thus no TV guide. It will not take too long.
